The WKA held candy sales at the So Calif Kendo Championships on 5/18/97 and at
the Nisei Week Takai on 8/10/97. This poster, created by Yumi Nakabayashi, was
used at Nisei Week.
Many thanks to all who contributed candy for the sales. Special thanks to the Norwalk mothers, who did much of the work at the Championships. Also, thanks to Junko Uehara and Charlene Song for transporting and storing the candy (Charlene also "sold" $13 worth of candy to her brother!), and thanks to all who worked the booths.
