The subtle variety of colors and objects --
emission, reflection, and dark nebulae, and
globular clusters make this region a favorite
of mine. The prominent yellow-orange star
is Antares. The larger globular cluster
to the right (west) of Antares is M4,
while the smaller globular cluster nearer
Antares (1 o'clock position) is NGC6144.
This is a full-frame 6x7 view.
