If you have javascript enabled for your browser,
move your mouse onto the image to see another
frame taken right after the first one. Each frame
is about 20 seconds long, so the two frames will give
you an idea of how fast the aurora is changing.
It should also be clear that these shots are
blurred representations of what can be
seen by eye. Much more fine detail can be seen
visually, though much less color is apparent.
