Yamaguchi sensei's request
- Old business notes
- none
- New business notes
- dojo meetings
- we'll be having monthly meetings on the Friday after
the monthly SCKF meeting
- the agenda will published at least one week ahead of
the meeting (from next time)
- if there is an issue that needs discussion please make
sure it is on the agenda at this time
- from now on hold the meetings at 7:30 so hopefully
more parents will attend
- the next meeting will be very important as the Carnival
must be discussed (see below)
- new members
- from this year we're trying a new policy to start new
members every odd month
- on those days we need a parent officer to be here early
to help the new members get enrolled and started
- to make this easier, change the starting day to the first
Friday of odd months (rather than the first practice)
- new forms: there are new forms on the Norwalk Dojo website.
Please use these forms from now on. If there is a problem
please let Yoshimura Steve sensei know. The sign in/out form
may need to be modified to cover only kids 13 and under.
- guidelines for advancement
- guidelines are in development for beginners
- for yudansha: if they want to participate in the Oct shinsa
they need to start practicing now
- Carnival
Since the booth form is due at the next Center meeting, the
booths were discussed. There was a suggestion to cut back the
food booth to just one item instead of four (last year we did
chicken, beef, yakisoba, and boba), ultimately it was decided
to just drop boba. We will still do the goldfish booth.
