• 11th Annual Kenshikan Kendo Tournament
  Date: Sat, 11/10/07, 9am to 5pm
  Place: Kaimuki Community Park, 3521 Waialae Ave, Honolulu
  Fees: $9 entry fee (includes lunch), $8 lunch for nonparticipants
  Deadline: Oct 22, 2007

• Individual divisions
  novice (not yet in bogu)
  yonenbu (kyu 11 and under)
  shonenbu (kyu 12 to 15)
  seinenbu (kyu 16 and over)
  1-3 dan
  4 dan and above
  women's: kyu and dan divisions

• Team match
  Senpo (novice division, any age)
  Jiho (yonenbu division, 11 and under)
  Chuken (women's division, 3 dan and below)
  Fukusho (3 dan and below)
  Taisho (one of the senseis from your dojo)

• there will also be some Japan kenshi attending, a used bogu auction, and bogu sales by Eguchi

Note: Kenshikan Dojo is the largest dojo in the Hawaii Kendo Federation. The Honolulu Advertiser has a nice article about them. They were one of the dojos that hosted us on our dojo trip to Hawaii earlier this year.
