On Feb 27th the SCKF, in association with SCKO, welcomed a group of visiting
sensei from Japan at Norwalk Dojo. Guests were led by Matsunaga sensei
(8 dan hanshi), and included Okuzono, Kobayashi, Ishida, Ide, Higashi, Ito,
and Rikitake senseis. This was a great opportunity for nearly 100 kenshi to
practice with some of kendo's best. After practice, refreshments were
served, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. The sensei, although
tired from their travels to South and Central America, appeared to enjoy
the opportunity as much as us.
