Comet McNaught is predicted to be one of the most spectacular
comets in several decades, but because of its proximity to the
sun and the latitude of southern California, it was difficult
to even find this comet. I had about 20 minutes to photograph
the comet before it went below a nearby ridge. If it does live
up to expectations, unfortunately those of us in the northern
hemisphere will not be able to see it.
