I stayed overnight despite poor weather prospects as I was hoping to get lucky and see a satellite reentry - NASA's Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS). That never happened for me as UARS splashed down in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, but the wild weather made up for the disappointment.
