Dear Federation Presidents and AUSKF Kenshi:

On behalf of the coaches, managers and players of Team USA, I would like to thank you for your longstanding support of Team USA kendo. We are always honored to represent AUSKF and the kenshi in the United States, and pledge to devote our utmost time and effort in order to properly represent USA kendo at the 16th World Kendo Championships, to be held in May 2015 in Japan.

Please find attached the information for the 16th World Kendo Championships Team USA Tryouts. We ask that all potential participants carefully read the information packet and confirm they are willing to make the proper commitment to Team USA before submitting their application. As you will see, the coaches/managers of Team USA have elected to move forward without a tournament-style tryout and will go straight into intensive, Team USA level training camps with the prospective members starting in September 2013.
