Invitation from SCKO:
Dear Federation and Dojo Representatives,
Kansai Gakusei Kendo Renmei (Western Japan University Kendo Federation - aka

October 20 - 22, 2016. Kansai Gakuren is an accredited Kendo organization by
the All Japan Kendo Federation and it is consisted of University undergraduate
student varsity Kendo players, that are currently attending Universities
located in the western region of Japan.
This year, Kansai Gakuren will be sending a group of 31 Kenshis, consisted of
University Students, coaches and Shinpans. They have approached us to have a
goodwill Keiko and Shiai in both individual and goodwill team categories
(Goodwill Teams will be consisted with a mix of players from Japan and the
USA, so you do not have to bring a full team). It will be a great opportunity
to practice with high level players from Japan, as well as to develop your
Kendo skills and building friendship with Japanese Kenshis at your age. The
goodwill teams will be allocated on the day of the tournament (Saturday 22).
The Tournament members will be limited. We will pick strong kenshis from
Saturday's participants.
