The Central California Kendo Federation is hosting the 2019 All California Open Kendo Tournament in Fresno, California, over Labor Day weekend.

      • 10 and under kyu
      • 11-13 kyu
      • 14-17 kyu
      • Adult kyu (18 and over)
      • Women's (14 and over, kyu and dan)
      • 1dan - 3dan
      • 4dan and above
      • Senior (50 and over, any rank)
      • Super senior (65 and over, 4dan and above)
      • 13-Member Federation Team
        • 1 kenshi: 10 and under kyu
        • 1 kenshi: 11-13 kyu
        • 1 kenshi: 14-15 kyu
        • 2 kenshi: 16-17 kyu
        • 1 kenshi: adult kyu
        • 2 women: kyu or dan, 14 and over
        • 2 kenshi: yudansha
        • 1 kenshi: 40-49, any rank
        • 2 senior: 50 and over, 5dan and above

  • Shiai Rules:
    • Competitors can only participate in one individual division
    • Time Limits
      • All individual divisions except Yudansha and Senior: 3 minutes, 1 minute encho, hantei (except semifinals and finals)
      • Individual Yudansha & Senior divisions: 4 minutes, 1 minute encho, hantei (except semifinals and finals)
      • Team Competition: 3 minutes, no encho
        in case of tie: ippon shobu daihyosen
    • Participants must supply their own mejirushi
    • Shinpan must wear shinpan uniform (coat and tie)
  • Toban:
    • 6 courts (one each NCKF, SCKO, WKF, CCKF; two SCKF)
      each court: 2 coordinators, 2 scorekeepers, 2 timekeepers, 1 recorder, 2 tasuki
    • 40 shinpan
