		AUSKF Board Meeting and Kodansha Shinsa Sat-Sun, 4/18-19/26, New Jersey AUSKF Board meeting, Sat-Sun Gym location: Palisades Park High School 1 Veterans Plaza, Palisades Park NJ 07650 Saturday Godo Keiko 4-6pm Sunday Shinsa registration 11:45am-12:45pm shinsa 1-4pm SCKF applicants see detailed instructions below AUSKF kodansha shinsa, Sunday steps for SCKF applicants obtain SCKF approval to test 5-7dan applicants fill out the SCKF external shinsa application form including signature of your dojo head instructor (please read all instructions, including the dojo head instructor notes below) fill out the AUSKF 5-7dan approval form email the completed forms (as separate files) to Jean Kodama by Mon 3/30/25 (the earlier the better) shogo (renshi or kyoshi) applicants fill out the SCKF shogo application form (with the assistance of your dojo head instructor and kendo advisors) email the completed form to Jean Kodama by Mon 3/23/25 (the deadline is earlier to accommodate any iteration or improvements that may be required) dojo head instructor: before signing the sckf form, be sure: form is filled out correctly and completely, including number of times practiced in the last 9 months (a number, like 27) the applicant has participated in at least one shinpan seminar and one kata seminar from the following list: 2/22/26 shinpan seminar 1/31/26 FIK shinpan seminar 2/23/25 shinpan seminar 2/22/25 FIK shinpan seminar 7/13/25 kata seminar 7/14/24 kata seminar other federation seminar within the last two years, pending approval by the shinsa committee (provide proof of attendance; must be a federation-run seminar) SCKF will then handle: approval by Shinsa Advisory Board signature by SCKF president the signed form will be emailed back to you do NOT contact the Shinsa Advisory Board or SCKF president yourself apply to and pay AUSKF to participate in the shinsa sign up is online, see online application form (this will include submitting the signed approval obtained in step 1.d above) AUSKF has a new requirement to complete SafeSport training prior to applying, see their instructions AUSKF's shinsa application deadline is Sat 4/4 see AUSKF's news announcement which includes links to additional information [ SCKF home page disclaimer ]
